Oldsmobile 1950 Rocket 88 Guitar Amplifier One of a Kind Parts Car Bogen CHA-20

  

1961 Bogen Challenger CHA-20 made into a Guitar amplifier to resemble a 1950 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 using all genuine 1950 Oldsmobile parts. Good sounding 20 watts undistorted output into generic 50 watt speaker. There are three other speaker outputs plus a 70 volt line to entertain the whole factory floor. Two 6V6 RCA with two 12AX7 and one 6AX5 tube.

Two piece head and bottom. Olds fob and key to turn it on. Row of Cedar green (Old Man Green) illuminates a bar on the front. Bass and Treble controls with phono input with its own volume control.

Side handles are actual 1950 Olds push button handles. All parts from a 1950 Rocket 88.

Top heat vent is from dash fascia. One side has a switched dome light for reading set lists. The other side has a pull down ashtray just like the car itself big enough to handle the big daddy cigars.

In back is the glove box to store the cords and sheet music / set lists or whatever.
