Up for sale is a terrific and hard to find guitar amp by Peavey.... An amazing clean platform, you can play jazz, country, blues and even some soft rock with this quality unit! This amplifier is built like a tank in the good ole' USA, and is also built to sound great and HUGE! The transformers on this amp are MONSTROUS. It's been said that a lot of an amp's sound comes from the output transformers.

And it's also got a LARGE Peavey Black Widow Speaker. What this all translates to is a nice, big bottom end. With a prominent midrange that will easily be heard through the mix, as well as nice sparkling top end that is reminiscent of a tube amp sound.... Without the hassles of valve maintenance! As the condition description states, all of the potentiometers are intact and functional, with the exception of the Sensitivity control pot which is broken.

So you can control the amp's overall volume with the gain knob. Let me tell you, this amp is LOUD! You are not going to get bedroom volumes out of this unit, unless you keep the gain knob REALLY LOW.

The great news is that this amp sounds TERRIFIC even at low volume. Turn her gain up and she gets even more and more sweet up to the volume you need her to be.....

And you've got PLENTY of room! Definitely a player's/gigging musician's live performance amp, you have a choice of hi and low outputs. You've also got a very stout parametric EQ section that doesn't just include your typical bass, mid and treble. But it also includes a shift control for more control over mids!

As well as a prescence knob for more control over your high end frequencies! If that wasn't enough, you've not only got what's called a "pre-EQ patch, " which I think is like a preamp effects loop...

Probably most suited for your "in front of amp" effects like overdrive, EQ and boosts but you've also got 2, count em', TWO additional effects patches! So you can put your time based effects such as chorus and delay after the pre-amp section of this amp!

Round that out with a genuine on-board spring reverb tank for larger than life Peavey reverb, and you've got an all-in-one sonic tool for all of you home, studio or stage needs! And we've got a bunch of pedals in our store if you need them...
