The date code on the attached transformer is 2200?? (I can't read the last two digits), so this is probably circa 1950 or 1960. This is used with moderate wear and some rust, but that just gives it a great patina.
This has an impedence matching transformer attached to it, but the speaker itself measures around 0.8 ohms (so 8/10 of an ohm, NOT 8 ohms). You should be able to wire this into a guitar amp fairly easily, or you could use a modified PA tube amp to run it.
The paper cone is undamaged, which is pretty rare. This plays well and sounds good. Please see my pictures for details and dimensions.If you have any questions, please ask.
