Up for sale is an excellent amp from Crate.... This is a great universal combo amp! Highly plausible that like its name insinuates, it puts out a massive 130. Great for all styles of playing! I would say that this amp is geared more towards metal heads, 90's grunge players, shredders, and any other musician that needs high gain sounds, as evidenced by its strong "lead" channel.

You CAN achieve some more lower gain, crunchy overdrive sounds for less brutal styles such as country, soft rock, classic rock and even some hard rock.... You just have to turn the gain on the "rhythm" channel down real low to get those genres, with the exception of probably hard rock, which obviously needs more dirt. Definitely not bad for a solid state amp!

Also makes a great platform for all of your pedals. And if the clean channel wasn't huge and round sounding enough, you've got onboard reverb and chorus to really fatten up your individual sound!

Reverb on this amp has quite the range! You can get fairly subtle effect if you keep the control almost all the way to off. But turn it up just the least bit and you start getting that lush, huge widened sound that reverb lovers crave! Start turning the reverb knob up and you can hear a longer decay, perfect if you like those kind of echo/delay sounds for your lead tone, and not just a single slap back! Turn the effect up all the way and my gosh, it's CAVERNOUS....

Perfect if you want to rock some Dick Dale type surf music or if you want to completely enhance your soundscapes for Christian and worship songs! As if that wasn't enough to flavor your sound from this amp, the onboard chorus is quite a gem. Turn up the depth and get those shimmery 80's chorus sounds that I STILL love and incorporate in my playing! And/or turn up the rate and get that swirly vibrato / Leslie organ type wobbly effect for some soupy blues (or circus sounds :)! Keep it all low and get that nice, more subtle, slightly detuned doubling effect to add some space, depth and thickness to your single notes!

There are also dual speaker outputs in the back of the amp that you can disconnect so you can also run it the amp in parallel through another speaker cab/s. It has an open back and many excellent sounds can be had from this one mighty box!!! Also this cabinet is equipped with wheel caster inlets.
