At the heart of this product is a reactive load design that parallels the load of a particularly good sounding speaker, the early Celestion G12 15W speaker that was in early Marshall and Vox amps. The Speaker Emulator combines this patented reactive load with a sophisticated pole filtering system (a type of EQ) which creates resonance to emulate various cabinet designs. This EQ section can also be defeated for driving another guitar amp rather than a full-range PA or studio monitor.
