Jensen Gold Label P10Q from the 1950's. Was originally a smooth cone, now re-coned with a ribbed cone by Orange County Speaker in California. This received a few hours of play in a Fender Tweed Bandmaster style guitar amp.
I own a number of amps and I mainly only play my Champ and Tweed Deluxe amps at home, so very low hours on the recone. We all know these vintage Jensens with original 50 + year old cones will need to be reconed someday, so why not save yourself 65 bucks on this one? There is a very small dent in the area near the terminals where a transformer could be mounted. If you look right below the speaker terminals, you can just make it out.
It does not affect the speakers integrity, tone, or operation in any way. I have some wires attached that are silver plated, teflon coated 18 gauge. I can leave those on, or de-solder them for you. I like to use these pig tails and a wire nut for quick change speaker testing.
I have vintage speaker cones for P10R, C10R, P12R, P12N, P12Q and C12R, C12N, C12Q etc. Drop me a message as these are not listed yet.The item "Vintage JENSEN P10Q Tweed Bassman 10 inch guitar amp speaker. P10R P12N family" is in sale since Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
