Vintage 80s-early 90s Roland JC-77 Jazz Chorus 210 Guitar Amp. These are some of the most well respected solid state amps from the last century. Very highly desirable amp, that breaks up and responds like a tube amp! This is an older USA made amp, with the stock Roland 210 speakers, probably the best stock 10 guitar speaker back in the day. Everything works great: chorus, reverb, distortion, input jacks, EQ, chorus select all function.
The reverb tanks are usually non-functioning on these older ones, I would suggest removing it and having it cleaned at some point. I would also suggest having a 3 prong plug installed, the current one is 2 prong with a space for a 3rd but you can tell it's factory 2 prong.
There are lots of signs of honest wear, like scuffs and small tolex tears; but you can tell this amp was just used not abused. It was probably gigged with for several years, then put away. These amps are certainly loud enough to mic and gig with at almost any venue.
Clean tone puts you in mind of a Fender Twin, chorus has 2 separate functions:manual and fixed. Reverb is real spring not digital, but I usually never use it. Distortion is similar to a Tube Works Driver in my opinion, I usually just use my distortion pedals and leave it off. Everything vintage guitar or amp related is extremely hot right now, and I'm sure this amp will only go up in value over the years.
