The new Nutube vacuum tube is mounted in the pre-amplifier. The MV50 is equipped with Nutube, a new vacuum tube co-developed by Korg and Noritake Ise Electronics, in the pre-amplifier. By taking advantage of Nutube's characteristics such as miniaturization, low voltage, and power saving, a head amp of this size was realized. The characteristics of the tube sound, such as rich overtone components and a sense of sound pressure, are still present.

Design concept focused on analog specifications. The MV50 is designed to analog specifications down to the smallest part detail, and is constructed with a vast number of analog elements in its circuitry, including Nutube. In addition, a special circuit that constantly changes the operating point is used to reproduce the wonderful dynamic characteristics of tube guitar amplifiers. Here is the authentic analog sound that has been favored by guitarists for more than half a century. Equipped with an EQ switch to get the sound depending on the cabinet size. Smaller cabinets tend to have less low frequencies and more high frequencies, which can sound cheap in some cases. The EQ switch also has a FLAT mode for connection to larger cabinets, such as those with four 12 speakers. This allows the MV50 to take advantage of the characteristics of the speaker cabinet without sacrificing its potential.

Cabinet Simulator Useful for Line Recording. MV50 is also equipped with a line/headphone output, so it can be connected directly to a mixer or audio interface and used as a recording amplifier. It also features a cabinet simulator circuit that perfectly reproduces the air and characteristics of a cabinet. The simulation is done in a real recording studio with high-end microphones and vintage mic preamps, including mic'ing techniques by a skilled engineer, so you can record with an authentic sound.
