1962 Vintage Fender Brown Face Amplifier Model 6G5A with Reconed Oxford Speaker

  
This impeccable "Brown Face" Amp with vibrato feature has been possessed by the original owner since 1962. The appearance is excellent, and the sound is even better. It has been serviced back to its pristine state by John Leonard, the vintage tube amplifier master technician of Empirical Sound in Cleveland OH. Other original replaced parts are also available for Fender gear purists.

The wiring schematic has been set to original factory specifications by John. He rates this item as B+ to a solid A. Only reason not an A+ is that some work has been done on the item. The speaker is a 15 inch Oxford 465-241 (15M6) and has been reconed recently by Victor Stolpe of Heavy Sound Co.

Victor has done work for Neil Young and various other well-known musicians and music stores such as Austin Vintage Guitars, True -Tone Music, Time Warp and Emerald City Guitars. Both technicians rave at the condition and clarity of this amplifier. Detail sheets of work performed are attached.
