Up for sale, a Supro model 1799 Statesman 2x12 extension speaker cabinet in near mint condition and in perfect working order. The Supro 1799 Black Magick/Statesman 2x12 extension cabinet is the loudest and most powerful speaker cab in the Supro legend series line. Loaded with Supro BD12 speakers originally developed for the Black Magick amp, the Supro 1799 2x12 extension is the perfect companion to the 1696RT & 1695TH Black Magick heads along with the 1699RH Statesman head. This 2x12 extension cabinet is rated for up to 150 Watts and features switchable 4/16 ohm impedance settings as well as parallel input jacks for daisy chaining multiple cabinets. One, two or even four 1799 cabs can be connected to a single Supro head for maximum impact on stage. The BD12 12 speaker pair features oversized ceramic magnets, top-of-the-line suspension and a UK-made speaker cones. This unique speaker recipe was designed by Bruce Zinky for Supro amps specifically to capture the Jimmy Page/Zep I inspired tones found in Supro's award-winning Black Magick amplifier. Armed with a pair of these custom drivers, the 1799 extension cabinets partially-open-back design delivers the classic Supro sound with great efficiency and extended bass response.
