Up for sale here is this vintage tube amplifier with external speaker, circa 1956. This is a Fanon Fanfare FX-2, which I believe was some sort of intercom. There is an amp with a built-in speaker and an external speaker. These have really nice MCM brass-colored cases and white mesh grills, and look absolutely amazing. The main unit has a volume control with built-in power switch, a built-in speaker, a little tube amplifier that runs a 50C5, 35W4, and 12AU6 (all included and untested), and a power cord. The extension unit just has a speaker inside it. These are in good shape with light to moderate wear and some minor rust/corrosion.

They are untested but should work fine with just a basic recap and some correct input/output terminals. Please be aware that this is probably a hot chassis amp (no power transformer) and you need to know what you're doing if you work on this.

This is a neat little vintage amp and you will have a lot of fun with it. Each piece is about 3.5" tall, not including the legs, 8" wide, and 4.5 deep. Please see my pictures for details and measurements. If you have any questions, please ask.

I have a number of other vintage tube amplifiers and other vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
