1960 MAGNATONE MODEL 111 AMPLIFIER, 1x8 Speaker, 5 Watts. This is an amazingly great sounding little Magnatone amp! Perfect for recording, intimate venues, and living room or bedroom practice sessions.

Model 111 was launched in 1959 and available only through 1963. Considered a student amplifier, much like the Fender Champ.

The Magnatone Model 111 provided an output power of 5 watts with a 12AX7, 50L6 and 35Z5 tube compliment through an 8 speaker. In 1961 the company name was officially changed from Magna Electronics to Magnatone (which had been only the brand-name before) and the amps began carrying the. Because this example is by Magna Electronics, it was made in 1959 or 1960, and manufactured in Torrance, California, USA. This amp has one of the fabulous and highly acclaimed Warehouse brand G8C 8 speakers, giving it a big voice, warm vintage vibe, sparkling highs and rich lows check out the rave reviews with the links below!
