The MV50 Brian May is based on the circuitry of the MV50 and the tone of the VOX AC30, with the addition of a KAT (Knight Audio Technologies) treble booster that can be turned on and off to achieve Brian May's instantly recognizable tone for everyone!

The KAT (Knight Audio Technologies) treble booster can be turned on and off for an instantly recognizable Brian May tone. In addition to the sophisticated front-panel controls for gain, tone, and volume, the MV50 Brian May also features a switchable EQ switch that can be toggled between flat (ideal for larger cabinets) and deep (great for getting deep tones in smaller cabinets).

When paired with a matching speaker cabinet, the MV50 Brian May delivers 25 watts (at 8 ohms), making it small but packs a big punch. The MV50 Brian May's headphone/line out also features speaker emulation, allowing you to record directly from an amp head (no need to mic the cabinet). It features an eye-catching red chassis, a visual representation of his legendary "Red Special" guitar.

The front of the amp and the cabinet netting are finished with VOX's quintessential diamond-pattern cloth, and Brian May's signature is included to signify his approval of the amp that bears his name.
