VINTAGE JENSEN C12R 2 x 12 SPEAKERS ELECTRIC GUITAR AMP EXTENSION CAB CABINET

This is a hand-built electric guitar amp extension speaker cabinet that comes with two original mid-1960's 12 Jensen speakers. The speakers are 12" ceramic Jensen "Professional Series Snyntox speakers. In terms of tone and magnet size, these are similar to Jensen C12R speakers that came in many vintage Fender amps. These speakers have a good natural warmth with a nice woody tone. They can clean up with the volume dialed-in back or really pushed hard to get some natural overdrive.

Despite their smaller magnet size, there is a considerable amount of bass that come through this cab. I suspect that's because these speakers were built to withstand more throughput than the more common C12R.

The cab was built out of two original "suitcase" style Jensen speaker cabs. The cab is wired for 16 ohm impedance, but you could rewire it for lesser ohms if needed.
